People who have 3 children must be almost crazy...
I mean...How can be possible to have this quantity of children and being relax at the same time?
The answer is: It is impossible to have 3 children and be relax. But, instead relaxing time there is another important thing: being happy.
People with big families is never alone, and of course they are happier than others who doesn't have family or live alone. But it is a big challenge.
This days I'm living with a family, auparing his three little girls, with the age of 3,5 and 8 years old.
It is a challenge for me. It is the first time I am in an irish family with children, and of course it is a different point of view as being a teacher. When you live with a family you realise that some thinkings about how to educate the children can be impossible or just a question of time and patiente.
Sometimes we judge parents becouse we don't realise that it is hard to correct some behaviours, and it is not always the fault of them if the children are naugthy.
Being naughty it is a way to grow up. A hard way for their parents and teachers, of course, but we are in the same team, and we have to put ourselves in the skin of each other. This is the most important in our occupation.
It is simple. But it is not easy.

Dichos Irlandeses
Watched water never boils
(Agua vigilada, nunca hierve)
If it isn't broken Why do you fix if?

Lovely Ireland (2)
Well, I have to make some changes in my last post: This morning I was watching the news and I discovered that irish fathers doesn't have paternity permission in the job.
Is that good for the family?
I guess not, becouse they won't help unless they would have time to do it. If fathers want to have time to take care of the children they should ask for the holidays, and this is not fair.
It seems that it is not gold all that bright in this country, specially with the familiar policy.
I only want to ask a question about this:
Why a country with a strong valoration of the family donesnt have a strong paternity entitlement?
That's all for the moment. Romantic ideas doesn't work to explain country values.

Lovely Ireland
One of the most green and peacefull places in Europe is, of course my dear Ireland.
I know it is no my country but while I'm living here I feel the problems and some things are the same as in Spain.
(This is the reason because this days I feel as If I were at home, unless I lost my bus or DART.)
Sometimes when I am watching the news, I can recognize that some of the values are the same as in Spain...except if we think in the values of the family and the community.
The other day, I discovered that the father of my host family goes all thursdays to help people without money. With the problem of the crisis it seems that some people is becoming councious of other problems, not only her bills or jobs.
I wonder why I don't feel the same in Madrid, when people say they couldn't pay a holidays. While this is happening, other people can't afford anything to pay food for his own family.
I know I can't make generalizations but I can feel that irish people like family life, it seems to be a general way to think in some generations.
Well, that's all. I don't want to be extremely optimistic, because all the countries have advantages and disadvantages, but sometimes it is good to take the best of each place you visit.
Have a good time!

Great and green Ireland
I know this is not common in my blog, but I'm going to write some words in english, speaking about Ireland, this great and wonderfull country.
By the moment I'm in Dalkey, a part of Dun Laoghaire, a village in the south of Dublin. It is so safe and beautiful. You can walk close to the beach and see in front of you the blue sea. I'm wonder because today it was a sunny day, and this is not common here. So everybody was in the street, walking the dog or with their families. All of them were laughing and smiling, having a sunbath.
